The 'irony' that I can't ever shake is that PFT once had a regular segment on Real Time with Bill Maher. Basically the spot where Bill brings out a non-panel guest who's hawking a project.
He'd just do 5 minutes of unrelated free-form standup and leave.
It really was the funniest thing I listened to last week. Went in with low expectations [if it weren't PFT I'd have skipped it altogether] and PFT/LL took that tater yard.

Sounds to me that…
First off, that has nothing to do with whether the movie is an outdated cliche or not.
Second, Oher is struggling to live up to his hype, and his opponents are taunting him for that. He's not criticizing it because it's inaccurate. He's criticizing it because it gives his opponents material to taunt him with when he…
Huh, knew the nudity standards were more urbane in the EU, but full frontal man shaft on network prime time was a surprise [or was that just in the Amazon version?].
Curious how you think 'more rich people have Netflix than poor' rationale that the tax is progressive matches up with 'what does an extra dollar mean to a millionaire, compared to a minimum wage worker' rationale suggesting it's regressive.
Because a true story about a homeless teen making it to NFL SB champion starter is the same thing as this.
