I really enjoyed the mixing of Bane and Talia's origins. First the subterfuge of Bane being Ra's son, then Talia having Bane's origin. Pretty good way to throw everyone off the scent of Marion Cotillard being Talia Al Ghul.

The Bat-growl was done to much better effect here than in The Dark Knight, where it almost became a parody of itself.

Yup, that was the date the next night. And I agree that there seems to be a ton of vitrol for this series and yet the reviewers seem to not be paying any attention to the show. This problem isn't just at AV Club with this show, but all over.
