Beyond the spectacle and the predictable ending, this episode was a goddamn clusterfuck.

But the overlap is good in some cases- as the DCTV Superman is way better than the movie one.

Maybe talking to the kid instead of getting ready to kick the living shit out of him would have gotten him the info he needed. Also the kid's brother had already been murdered by the Hand, who control the police/everything, he can't get out even if he wanted, he gets murdered within 24 hours of getting arrested. So

She's an expert private detective, I think she can spot a tail- and he had to maintain his whole blind-guy tapping his stick routine when he was walking through the crowds. If he was tailing her on the rooftops I think he might have gotten away with it.

She super-jumps behind him (you can hear a whoosing sound when he looses the sound of her footsteps), and then he tries his best to get away while maintaining his cover in a public place- as soon as he turns every corner he starts sprinting, but she keeps up with him.

Dr. Strange should definitely know about all this magickeyness, seeing as he's monitoring magical threats to the world now.

Really? Because the next Thor movie looks to be dialing that back hard. (also having Odin say that in Thor 2 made me nearly walk out of the theater)

Agreed- people acted like DC keeping their TV and Movie universes separate was dumb, but it's actually REALLY helped the TV universe maintain it's own internal logic/do things they'd never get away with if the two were linked.

Spoilers!

Well his sister was teaming up with Davos for revenge at the end of S1 if I'm not mistaken, and Madam Gao was listening in. I think Ward will still have stuff to do in S2

Where's my heroin?! *audience applauds*

She can also survive jumping from the top of like a 50 story building, but I think that's part of her fly/jumping ability.

She also totally undercuts him by implying she's met, and possibly killed, other Iron Fists before.

Someone probably already mentioned it, but you're actually describing the exact TV Trope the Conservation of Ninjitsu.

The kid's brother had already been killed by the Hand, meaning even if he wanted out he knew there was no option. Within 24 hours of him getting arrested he gets murdered in prison- I think we need to cut the kid some slack as he's literally working for a secret ninja cult that controls the police and has no way out.

Someone already mentioned it, but apparently you hear a whooshing sound when Matt looses her footsteps- meaning she super-jumped to get behind him. Then it was just him doing everything he could to maintain his secret identity (only running when he turned corners)

LoL when he was being held down on the table about to beaten by a bunch of people? And Elektra and Alexandra hadn't even entered the fight?

It'd be hilarious if ONE of them was actually a random board member.

*Danny ends up back in a psych ward*

Well, the Foot clan was a parody of the Hand in the comics (seriously). It all lines up!
