It was terrible, with nuggets of goodness— which makes me hate it even more, because you'd see certain actors knocking it out of the park while Finn Jones was like a whiney piece of cardboard that couldn't any action scene he was in. Also the rules of the when he could or couldn't use Fist itself were so unclear.

I think it's because their series definitely used those distinctive filters throughout. JJ had lots of blues and purples, Luke Cage had lots of yellows/ambers. Also love how they'd bring in a needle drop every time we switched to Cage, as the soundtrack was one of the key features that made his series so distinctive.

They definitely have managed to salvage some semblance of Danny in this series, making him the hot-head, overeager 'kid' of the team. It's still a far cry from the awesome comics version, but Jones and the character work much better as part of an ensemble rather than the lead.
