I'm thinking the Age of Heroes might have been the one where the Amazonians, Atlanteans, and Humans teamed up and fought off Steppenwolf and the forces of Apokalips several centuries ago.

"THEY said the age of heroes would never come again."
I don't think that's fair. What's that famous quote "You don't need to know how to make a meal to know when it's bad" or something to that effect. You know CGI is bad if it… well, just seems bad when you look at it. You may not be able to pinpoint how or why, but if it draws your attention to it in a negative way,…
I honestly didn't even notice it. I deserve a cookie!
Basically none. Johns and Jenkins have said the basically did a total rewrite of the script.
But said lycra would also burn off at high speeds. So he obvs projects a protective field of some kind that protects what he's wearing (also why his normal clothes don't tear off when he uses his speed in BvS).
Yeah. Though I like the trailer, I was immediately like "Jesus COME ON"
Loving some of the imagery, but then that's never been Snyder's weakpoint. Here's hoping the execs were breathing pretty hard down Snyder's neck about keeping things lighter during production. Hope Johns/Whedon can inject more energy/ensure the characterizations are correct in terms of the script.
I'm really hoping Superman will just come back and be all smiles and fun because Joss Whedon. Just handwave his change in personality as being due to his death.
I'm hoping that most of Whedons reshoots involve him constantly filming Superman scenes and saying "Henry, you need to smile more!"
To be fair, he was already on his way out as a part of DC.
But if it leads to them ultimately making good movies, I'm cool with that. I can pretend certain storylines in comics I hate never happened, just like I can pretend Thor the Dark World never happened.
Waaaay too cheesy for me.
Or he'd just stand there and all the bombs would explode around him and he'd just watch everyone else die and fly away to mope.
And if there's a moral conflict at his core, it's that he can never save ENOUGH people. He's constantly choosing who lives and who dies- do I fly over here and save this guy or fly over there and save that girl? When I'm eating people are in trouble, when I sleep people are in trouble, etc.
Okay, that makes sense now. Again, I was just genuinely confused why they wouldn't post the trailer (whether for applause or to get ripped to shreds) as its kind of what we're all about here, and I want to comment about it with folks. Cheers!
Edit: Mystery Solved!
Red Skull was fun for the type of movie he was in, but he was really one-note overall.
Awww well fuck. That's what I get for having Green Lantern and Iron Fist as my two favourite goddamn comic book characters.. *wanders off to get drunk*
In other great Marvel News: Scott Buck is NOT Showrunner of Iron Fist S2, but the showrunner from Sleepy Hollow is coming over- which was apparently a good show, so maybe they can redeem my boy Danny Rand after the shitshow that was S1 (too bad they can't recast him though).
