That S1 twist ending was so awesome- defeat the villain in a fight, but his big plan works anyway.

And that Sinister Six movie with no Spidey in it…
*shudders*
LoL Where did I say ANY of that?
You never know, she could show up on Legends of Tomorrow, particularly now that they've broken time and space. Seriously, I hope they go nuts with that idea, there are so many possible things they can do with it. What if Green Arrow was a steampunk hero in Victorian England? Or Deathstroke, Captain Boomerang, Weather…
True. Maybe Thea could be injured to give Evelyn a chance, but then Thea says something like "You helped torture my brother you b****" and goes off on her
Batman's dumb power is that he always WINS, Captain America's dumb power is that he's supposedly always right (except for all the times he isn't- like when he's opposes Registration to save his boyfriend in Civil War, or when he becomes a Nazi).
Except they now KNOW he has these files and have probably each come up with their own strategy to take him down by now :P
Unless Batman teleports them to a world with a Red Sun, or forces him to use his Superflare prior to battle, which depowers supes for at least 24 hours, etc.
Yeah, imagine a story where Bats takes over, and in the final battle Superman has to go up against him totally depowered. The notion of him somehow overcoming the martial arts mastery of the "Batgod" would be freaking awesome.
Right now Superman comics are anything but dark and grim. In fact, they haven't been for years.
Keep repeating that enough times and I'm sure it'll be true Carlos.
Say what you want about Grant Morrison, but the man gets both Batman and Superman pitch perfect. His Bats is badass, but also funny and his stories embrace the goofiest aspects of the Batcanon and manage to make them not only interesting, but downright awesome. Like the idea that for a period the 60's era Batman and…
Thats cool—- I remember a Yellow Lantern ring DID seek him out, which totally makes sense, as his greatest weapon is fear, so you'd think he'd be like the paragon of their order, but he ultimately managed to fight it off.
Love that stuff. Johns always had a good handle on Batman, in that he generally doesn't buy into the BatGod premise. Bats is capable and badass, but also a normal human with very questionable judgement at times.
One thing I'll say about this game, is that despite the sexualized outfits for Harley, it manages to continue the really solid development she's had in DC canon— namely that her relationship with the Joker was fucked up and abusive, and she retakes her power by fighting back against him. Some of the most satisfying…
Agreed- I would have issues with the inevitable fridging effect, as it would have undoubtedly been used to motivate Barry to be a better hero, but there would have been something so cool about a time travel plot like this where there it turns out the CAN'T save her, and have to deal with it.
One of the reasons I enjoy The Dark Knight on so many levels— the whole notion of the cellphone based surveillance technology is like the ultimate temptation that Nolan's Batman manages to overcome, but I don't believe for a SECOND that the comic book version would be able to. He'd hook it up to the world and play Big…
Uh huh…
Batman is FAR from always right. See Tower of Babel, Infinite Crisis, etc.
