That's funny—I halfway expected him to destroy (or fix) the bugs with his magic hammer.

But the mushrooms and turtles were all Mario though, right?

My 2-year-olds review was "Lets watch it again!" as soon as it was over. Sadly, he doesn't quite get that we can't just replay a movie when we're not at home. On the "I might start worrying about this soon" he laughed the hardest at the zombie's heart getting ripped out…

Me too—I'm especially happy to hear it's good since there was zero chance of my not going to it anyway. My sons have been excited about this one since the first preview (and I did manage to avoid all the creepy—and bad—kids movies at Halloween, so I guess I owe them one).

I really enjoyed Brave as well, and it is probably the best looking film Pixar has put out yet.

Insomnia or the Tommyknockers. I don't guess the order particularly matters, as they were both just godawful.

Those are all the changes I remember (aside from the added stuff of course) was the presedential references and other things to connect it to the 80's rather than the 70's. Most of the added stuff I found surprisingly good—especially the Kid. Although I am very much against firearm sodomy.

That series got remarkably better with The Drawing of the Three, even moreso with The Wastelands, and IV was probably my favorite. The less said about five the better, six was okay and I sort of liked seven. Not sure where I'd put book 1 in all that except to shrug and say "eh, it had to start somewhere I guess."

I bet his editor gets all kinds of crazy-hilarious e-mails.
