Well, everyone is entitled to their own opinion, no matter how badly wrong they are.

So, really, no spoiler space for this one?  That seems odd.

Yeah I kept looking at his eyebrows too.  It's like you just know something is off but can't quite put your finger on it. Still, great movie so that was no big deal.

It was a little distracting while watching, but you get so caught up in the story that it doesn't really take away from it.

I was talking about 49ers—I really enjoyed that one (although not as much as the first two).  Weren't those the only three that Moore had anything to do with?

The first two volumes of Astro City are among the best super-hero stories ever written.

Undoubtedly.  Well, unless you like his runs on the Avengers, since the X-Men will be exactly like that and they will all talk and sound exactly like each other.

I'm with you—got the first two trades as gifts off my wishlist, then removed the rest because I just couldn't get into it.  When Moore is on he's the best in the business, but when he's off he's farther out there than Morrison on his worst day.

I believe I'm holding off until the Marvel Now relaunch.  I stepped away for a few months because of how messy everything had gotten in the X-iverse and it seems it's only gotten worse since I've been gone. When X-Factor is the only series you get any real enjoyment from anymore it's time to step away.

Great choice—maybe the next round?  Also, how about a week or two "aside" for shorter series?  I'd love to see Planetary and Locke and Key covered, and about a million others…
