Fanboy? He couldn't even get that right. They are watching Halloween and at one point he says "Look at that blood!". Any astute horror fan knows there is very little blood in Halloween. Although the blame should go to Kevin Williamson for writing his annoying character.

It was probably one of the first exclamations.

Hi there

There's a live version of this on the "Live Killers" record.

That's just brilliant. I would love to see that with an in-his-prime Arnold.

JFK could answer that question.

Talk about free-balling!

I'm not up for internet research, so I'll just spitball a response: I'm inclined to think sci-fi was viewed a lot like it's nearest sibling - the horror genre - so it was wasn't given a lot of respect, except for those few occasions when it managed to hit one out of the park. 2001, Day The Earth Stood Still, Forbidden

Then kissed her in two movies before realizing she was my sister in the third. Ugh.

I concur. What would worry me is that this would only work as an R rated movie (almost as many head-shots as John Wick!), and I think the studios would want to PG-13 it up for ticket sales.

If I recall, Frank Darabont has wanted to make "The Long Walk" - and in the right hands I think it would be awesome. I generally don't reread novels, but "The Long Walk" and "The Stand" are two I reread every few years or so. The only other is Larry McMurty's "All My Friends are Going To Be Strangers".

Well said. I'm a huge fan of the movie and that's the best summation I've read.

Oh, these shitty comment's aren't baiting - they're just shitty.

**turns off Beatle's "Martha, My Dear"**

He has to be very careful using the term "Alien".

Romulan Ale? Please, Obama is a Tranya drinker if I ever saw one.

Just as predicted in Revelation: Hurricanes; Trump; Feldman; exploding cell phones. We are at the end of times my friends.

He still just shy of mediocre.

Good God, that movie was stupid. Poorly written. Hackneyed.
Stock characters. I love every stupid second of it.

Uh, The McLean Stevenson Show, Mulligan's Stew and BJ & the Bear.
