I rewatched The Aviator this past weekend, and I'd completely forgotten Scott was in that. That's all, everyone can resume what they were doing.

So she's officially to old for Hollywood roles. Send her to whatever island Anne Hathaway is on. Then send me as well.

Saw it twice in theater, and have watched every night since getting the BR Tuesday - shit is fucking awesome. My home theater doesn't do it the justice it deserves, so undoubtedly will catch on IMAX.

Uh, Driving Ms. Daisy. There was driving in it - much like Fury Road.

That movie would just be "stupid", not "winningly stupid". As much as I hated, hated, hated Transporter 2 - which was horribly stupid (liked 1 & 3 though), I'm willing to give this a shot.

Recent movies that were pushing three hours:
All Hobbit movies (ok, not talking quality here)
Dark Knight Rises (this does go back a few years)
The previously mentioned Wolf/Wall Street (3hr+)

Agreed. Went to see Black Swan and there was an old couple in the front row. They left in the middle of the girl-on-girl scene. As they got towards the end of the aisle the old guy yelled, "You didn't tell me THAT was going to be in the movie!".

Yeah, what 3-hour movie is worth watching or does good business? Some 3hr crap that comes to mind: Gone With The Wind, Barry Lyndon, all the LOTR movies, Schindler's List, Doctor Zhivago, Godfather II.
Not a looker in the bunch.

Best rock band of the 70s.

Aw, he's too street for The Late Show.

Will Katrina and the Waves be on the soundtrack?

Yeah, and then the article mentions Live Schreiber, whom I can only assume owns a Subway franchise in this film.

I just turned 50 this year, and I remember a time before MTV. I remember the debut of MTV and the brief window of relevance it had. I remember crushing on both Nina Blackwood and Martha Quinn.

Screw him, there's barely enough Scotch for me and Alcopheliac.

I got a Spandau Ballet notification for this?

**faints dead away**

Surrender! To Duff!

In all honesty, that used to happen to me. My alcohol schedule ran like a Swiss watch.

It's no "emerging-feminist-werewolf" genre, but what the hey.

Indeed. My 2nd favorite in the genre behind American WW in London.
