This song came out in 1991??  I remember hearing it a lot when I first started listening to different radio stations than my parents, which was late elementary school (so probably 1996-1997ish?).  I had no idea it wasn't new at the time.

Kristen Schaal is an interesting idea…maybe she and Kurt Braunholer would do it together, they're both in LA.  Although doing a late night show would probably mean they'd stop doing Hot Tub every Monday, which would be very sad for me personally.

Can you imagine the Eric Andre show existing on a network?  Like doing Cat Burglar and the other man on the street type pranks but with a huge audience?  That would be amazing.  Hopefully Eddie Pepitone would still pop in once in a while.

Get Charles Barkley to host.  Guaranteed shit-show, and I'd watch the hell out of it.  Or if it was Chuck/Kenny/EJ as a panel (basically their TNT halftime show but every night for an hour). Also, Shaq.

Oh daaaaaaang.  He's great and I have a real big crush on him.  He'd have to pretty much live in America full time though, which I don't think he does currently.

I'd love this but considering he already has his own weird-ass talk show on IFC I don't know that he'd want to switch.  Although he has talked about his love of Letterman, so maybe he'd do it.

He's relatively known at this point but I'm kind of curious what Aziz Ansari would do with a talk show.  Would at least be nice to have a non-white person.

Hopefully every monologue would just be him telling a different version of the moth joke

"Is it bad?!" really did make me laugh.  Delivery sells it.

It's definitely Brian Huskey that pops his head in

Doctors are furious with local mom for 5-minute late night talk show solution!

I got an email from livingsocial this morning with an offer for "faux mink eyelash extensions", which I chose to read as "foaming eyelash extensions" in a Russian accent.

I'm still a fan of Storm of Swansons, the Parks and Rec/Game of Thrones mash-up. The quotes and screen caps are usually pretty well matched.

The back story for the actual production is also just so great. Reselling leather jackets from Korea to raise six MILLION dollars, filming with side-by-side with film and digital cameras just because he didn't know which was better, filming a sex scene the very first day of shooting and the actress play Lisa was 18

Can you watch HBO shows no longer currently airing on HBO?  I've never used it but if I could watch/catch up on old stuff light Enlightened or Deadwood or Treme then it would be worth paying for.

I remember being really excited for "Across the Universe" based on the trailer, and boy did I end up sad.

I don't watch his show much but when I see clips I think a big part of the appeal is how much fun he's obviously having.  Also he's got a great staff with the Roots, AD Miles, Steve Higgins, plus all the guests he gets to come do weird stuff.

I had a professor named Jim Dean (couldn't go by James or Jimmy, for obvious reasons)
