Dalton Wilcox was the same episode as the "cavalcade of Andy Daly suicides" - that episode is called "Wipeout" because it also features Scott Aukerman trying to start everybody singing "Wipeout" and he gets left completely alone. I love that one too. Also, I went to the taping of Dead Authors where Andy Daly was…

I know Buffy came first but I didn't watch Buffy/Angel until this year and had seen NuWho before - I'm curious what other signs you saw that RTD is a Buffy/Angel fan…it doesn't surprise me but "Hush" really stuck out to me as being similar.

It's probably not just me so this may have already been discussed elsewhere, but "Hush" reminds me so much of the rebooted Doctor Who in terms of style/sensibility.

maybe easy in terms of breadth vs. depth or need for critical thinking, but it can cover a pretty enormous breadth of subjects/time periods and that type/speed of recall is a specific skill. what i'm saying is that i'm super good at jeopardy on wii.

I lived in Seattle last year when John Hodgman started his book tour for "That Is All", and it included tons of guests (Jonathan Coulton, John Roderick, John Flansburgh, Sean Nelson, etc), but Ken Jennings was in the audience and ended up on stage as a group reading of a reality show script JH wrote. Good show.

i'm surprised he didn't include parks and rec, i feel like people who like everything else on his list like it.

i just got the criterion blu ray of Brazil and i'm so so so excited to rewatch it. michael palin was always my favorite python, his role in brazil really used his affability in the creepiest way.

@avclub-a6c2f1d0e96d6d65d15d1d54eb0953c4:disqus I could also imagine J'Dinkelage Morgoone and D'Isaiah T. Billings-Clyde being real. My favorites though are Sagittariut Jefferspin, Beezer Twelve Washingbeard, and Javaris Jamar Javirison Lamar (mostly the delivery on that last one).
