Nothing at all against Megan Ganz, who seems to be a likable, talented person, but she seems to be raising self-promotion to new heights. Do other writers make big announcements like this on Reddit, as opposed to their own Twitter feeds or whatever?

Last night I started The Dangerous Animals Club by Stephen Tobolowsky. So far all the stories I've read are ones I've heard on the podcast (I failed to download all episodes before they disappeared off iTunes), but I don't mind.
It's fun to read about the scenes she discusses and then find them on YouTube. Like the Concorde scene? I mean, I guess it turned out well, but knowing how much coordination went into…well, a plane-landing scene is insane.
Oh, interesting. I didn't know that. I saw the Word Wars documentary, and it was surprisingly upsetting.

Ep 109 with Jordan Morris and Chris Fairbanks is good. Also agree with the PFT and Charlie Demers recommendations. And of course, Kurt Braunohler—I love that his half-asleep tape musings meshed so well with the "call us in the middle of the night" thing that Graham keep trying to make happen.

The best episodes are with someone like Jesse Thorn or Dave Holmes who know how to host a show and steer a conversation without being overbearing. I like Paul, but he's either got to develop that skill or…I don't know.
