its not so simple as "do something bad and be an unlikeable person"

id say her charm ran out somewhere in the 2nd season when i realized there was no changing this woman. her bad decisions are constant, much like the casting decisions of the show. she is stupid, unlikeable, and mostly just annoying. in no way should anyone be sticking by her side and you just want to punch all of them

fuck off

ugh
weeds is the worst

this sure has come a long way from rum flavoured french toast.

so in some sense it works for goodfellas, but the reason ray liotta works so well is that he is a man struggling with that, and when he smiles you can tell that something is wrong.

there is no way around it
tom cruise will always be a cokehead with a smile.

i knows its the internet and it seems silly to say
but sometimes you just gotta say WHO CARES

if i was to be conspiratorial i would assume that it would have something to do with scientology controlled unions.

ya right
there must be money out there for this. there will be blood (the last film he made) was nominated for a load of academy and other awards. i don't see how this could have funding problems even if you believe in the idea that scientologists are trying to stop it from getting made.

steve buscemi
he is believable as being a tough guy (or at least a guy that can freak out and fuck you up) from our experience with him in other roles. so his patience and control in this is so great to see. without really seeing him do too much pounding (besides that dudes head against the card table) i believe that

I think not killing sally has better reason than "losing an essential perspective". You could not just flippantly kill her. The show would undoubtedly have to deal with it for the remainder of the show. Don Draper would NEVER get over it, it would haunt everything. Countless episodes would have to be dedicated to it

sorry i meant oldER

maybe she knew what she was doing liquoring him up "accidentally" so that she could get what she wants.

sally seems too young for me to seriously consider that she would commit suicide. children that young often take extreme stances with their emotions, feeling that bad things are the end of the world. if she was 10-20 years old and said that, i would tend to agree with you.

"read labels" is funny lesson coming from an ad man

im trying to think back.. what other deaths were there besides don's paper wife? it doesn't feel to me like there has been "a lot of death".

hmmm
i thought mrs blankenship dying like that was a bit too much. it wasn't exactly necessary either. fine to get rid of her, but to make such a deal out of it.

yum
french toast drenched in rum.

god, shut up "normal person".
