The credit card commercial with Curtis Stone eating alone ("The only other place with food like this is *in* Milan" or some garbage) while hitting on that other lady who's eating alone, and the whole commercial is narrated by Juliana Marguielles just makes me want to tongue kiss my DVR.

Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, I see.

Totally have no idea what your point is.

I can't believe it's already time for the season finale:  As great as tonight's episode was, and as good as this season has been (especially in terms of 'stand-alone' episodes that felt like the kind of short stories you'd read from Richard Yates), I feel like Matt Weiner needs to throw us some major plot next week.

At one point on this message board, either for the previous season finale or the one before that, I wrote that I'd like to see some steamy "ex sex" between Betty and Don… and was subsequently poo-poo'ed for expressing that desire (by both folks here and by people who I shared this wish aloud with at work and

I still have old episodes of Conan that I recorded on VHS tapes. And Dr. Katz. I think the only Full House I have on tape is when Aunt Becky has her twins

I don't want to sound sassy but..

I like when Leslie Linka Glatter directs. She's amazing, also directed a bunch of good episodes of Gilmore Girls

Re:

Which reminds me: I can't remember ever watching an episode and thinking, "I want more Betty, less Don" until last night. Maybe because I heard a rumor before Season 5 that Betty's character is eventually going to do some sort of 360, which caused me to daydream about her becoming a jeans-wearing, bra-burning

I believe this is the first episode directed by Jon Hamm, and as a Hamm-lover, I feel guilty that this is definitely one of the episodes of Mad Men I've enjoyed the least; it definitely receives a big sigh of, "yeah, yeah, we get it already" towards Don being adrift and cheating on his wife again. I wish there could

either a fun coincidence or Matthew Weiner seeing Cremaster 3 and being like, "cool'

Oh shoosh, I was distraught about the Celtics losing and therefore set the bar for this episode at a great height so that it could help heal my broken soul.

Yeah, I totally agree re: the plate-throwing episode. I just felt like the finale rushed the idea of her turning Betty-esque right when I was beginning to not dislike her, and so I found that to be a bit of a bummer.

Yeah, I was glad to see that her vapid-ness was actually used in a constructive and clever way via making her one of those poor electroshocked folks

Matthew Weiner needs to get his hand out of his pants and leave the writing and directing to the more talented folks in his employ. No longer do I want to see..
