Chanel No. 5 feels like an obvious red herring to me, the writers are very clearly making her look suspicious, much like they seem to be putting a point on no one really knowing Chanel Oberlin outside of KKT.

Yeah this is a big head scratcher for me as well, I can't think of any part of the plot that really hinges on Boone being gay. It kind of feels like they intended it to be some sort of weird reverse red herring earlier in the season - as in the Red Devil who was in love with Zayday couldn't be Boone or Gigi.

According to an interview I saw she says it was a costuming decision that people loved so they wrote it into the show and will explain it at some point.

Wait maybe I'm misremembering but I thought they did show her body during the party? Or did Chad and Chanel No. 6 stumble upon it maybe? I'm pretty sure everyone that was dead up to that point was there except for Nick Jonas.

They were nothing special but it's not like it's The Big Bang Theory or something.

I'm really curious why they decided they needed to start using an opening title sequence in episode 5. Did they cut it for time in the first four episodes? Was it not done yet?

With the Exorcist III homage it's nice to see them cribbing from something and not having it be hit-you-over-the-head obvious like the Silence of the Lambs stuff. Although they could have used it a lot better by having it be, you know, surprising.

I wanted to give Abigail Breslin the benefit of the doubt but this was the episode where her bad acting became outright distracting. I hope for her sake she's just miscast/can't do camp, but there's probably a reason she's kind of disappeared since she aged out of kid roles.

She's on that new Hulu show Casual - doesn't mean she won't show up here but I'm assuming if she does it'll be a smaller role. Of course, all of her AHS roles have been on the smaller side, she's just pretty much always the best thing on the show.

I've watched enough of Ryan Murphy's work to believe that that scene was 100% his idea of what feminism is.

I'm pretty sure Chanel used "slits" too in the first episode. Not that I care since TV ratings are even more worthless than MPAA ratings, but I'm honestly a little amazed that you can talk about getting "spit roasted" and have someone's arms get chopped off with a chainsaw (even if it's cartoonish violence) and still

Agreed that the music has been awesome even if LaToya is right about the weird "is this the 80s/90s/2015" vibe the show has. It kind of feels like they wanted to set it in the past but also wanted to take advantage of cell phones/social media/etc. It is odd how 99% of the music cues are from the 80s but the show's

Does 4chan really try to take credit for Lil B's career? The Pack had a national hit when he was like 16 and "Wonton Soup" was in rotation on rap radio when it came out, don't see how anyone could lay claim to "giving birth" to him unless they were like the person who showed him how to upload music to the internet or

I actually got to meet the cast (and got a signed 8x10") at my local comic shop - I was pretty young and it wasn't as easy to get insider info on the internet as it is now so I remember looking at the movie ads in the paper for a couple months hoping each week would be the week it came out. It's weird to think that

B-B-B-BUT WHAT ABOUT STAN LEE AND JACK KIRBY??? WON'T SOMEONE THINK OF THE CANON WE ONLY CARE ABOUT WHEN SOMEONE WANTS TO CHANGE THE RACE OR GENDER OF A CHARACTER???

While I think that's an interesting argument the issue I have with the whole premise is that most people seemed to regard Doggystyle as an extension of The Chronic (which I think is pretty fair.) Also personally I think part of the reason Doggystyle is "timeless" is because a lot of west coast rap hasn't progressed

That just shows that it's nearly impossible to win it all on the back of one player. I mean just look at the rosters..the Cavs won 66 games with LeBron and couldn't get to the finals.

I've found that a lot of the people who complain about the current NBA using dog whistle language nowadays are the same people that stopped watching 10+ years ago or awful Cowherd-style media personalities who were never really basketball fans in the first place but feel the obligation to write/talk about it.

Most "flagship"-type stores in prime areas of Manhattan don't make much/any money and are more or less a promotional cost, at least in my experience.

I like Paranoid Park better than Elephant or Last Days, both of which seem to have improved their critical reputation over the years while Paranoid Park seems to have been forgotten. I liked Milk but it's not a film I ever think much about, especially compared to the four films he did prior to it.
