Wait a minute …

So you're too old to play Catwoman at age 29?

Simon Barnes
He's a cunt.

Martyrs
The director of Martyrs was once rumoured to be directing this reboot. Which was promising, because the suffering in Martyrs is legendary in Hell.

Yes - up until "… or whatever" he sounded like a man who knows what he's doing and why he's doing it. I suppose that's why that reel was expendable.

*an album

Does ANYONE remember and album called Love's Alright.

TomTom, since becoming a father I am no longer funny.

YEah, thanks Flasheart. This thread you started disproves a comment posted recently somewhere on these boards that AV Club comments are clogged with people just quipping at eachother and discussing nothing.

After Rose stormed off stage, Dennis Desmond, the head of MCD who promoted the gig, came on and appealed for patience.

Here's the capital letter and punctuation you ordered, Mr. Walter:

Chalk And Cheese
Ian Chalk and Ian Cheese are two men. They are very different. As different literally as chalk and cheese. Consequently they don't really get on but occasionally they do something which makes them realise they are more similar than they initially thought and then Ian Cheese falls in a stream to break

Roll Reversall
Ian Roll is a driving instructor, Ian Reversall is a baker. Due to some kind of accident they are forced to swap jobs. With hilarious consequences.

Wait a minute
I haven't heard this album yet but I think the review gives this band short shrift. They're not a joke. They try new things. They attempt to push envelopes and avoid cliches, and it results in very good music.

Ah, MBS … how I've missed you and your passionate defence of mediocre films.

I second that emotion on Cobra.

Timmy! You're so licky!

It sucks.

What's wrong with Shift-Work?
Well?

Yeah, that eponymous one is aceness. It's my favourite of all their albums.
