Nah that was definitely a firefly reference. It was pretty blatant. I even think Fillion said something about the coat reference in his Palley Fest interview. I loved the dino/barbie fight at the beginning to echo Wash's dino fight. And also the bar fight where Slaughter just sat and watched.

Me too, love that show to death yet only every other season for parks is a full season. They are always on the chopping block. Maybe they can all get together (30 Rock & Parks and Rec) and create a super-mega-saturday night live that is actually good.

I thought Jenna broke once (don't remember scene) but then a split second later it seemed it was just a genuine part of the character. I think 30 Rock characters just have a good sense of humor and laugh at the other characters sometimes. In other words…I agree with you. : )

They did about 3 or 4 of these misdirects in a row last night and it made me stop laughing. Its sad because 30 Rock has been my favorite show for its constant ability to make me laugh. I feel like many of my favorite writers have left the show. : (

I know I'm gonna get trash thrown at me for this but I really wanted to put in my two cents and back Chevy up a little. I think he's insanely talented and I'm glad to have a show where I can watch him nearly weekly and crack up at his antics (and I'm young!).
