Now that is just plain sad. I loved that song/dance number when it was on the Cosby show and to see them do it again so well, I loved it. Glad I saw the real thing live!

I started to agree with you, because the line was so ridiculous, but then I realized that, no, she isn't a hipster. She doesn't like things ironically. She likes things wholeheartedly whether they are cool or not (see giant picture of her and Penny). So… not a hipster.
On the up side, if you like listening to specific hosts and you run out of podcasts to listen to at work, you can always hear more of them on other shows you don't normally listen to.

I laughed pretty hard at that…ya, I think it was the desperation in Dave's eyes.
Maybe its something the writers felt they needed to get out of the way. When Leslie was desperate she dated Tom too, as a last resort. Its not like this thing with Tom will really go anywhere. Their screen chemistry is nothing compared to him and Lucy. Those two are were adorable.
He didn't remind you of a Jim Halpert clone? I think that was the problem I had. It felt like I was watching The Office when he was on the screen.
Since he was credited for tonight's episode, I wonder how much he had to do with bringing back three of my old favorites on the show (Duke Silver, Mouse Rat, and Dave). Thank you Harris Wittles (and the other amazing writers)!
Did Chris leave? I guess I missed that part! I believe it that him being gone would save the whole sound. That singing was sooo awful!
The episode that blew me away and took the show from "good show I like to watch" to "awesome show I love" is the 1st paintball episode (season 1, episode 23).
I agree! Since 30 Rock got a late start and Community had a midseason hiatus, I got caught up on Raising Hope lately from boredom. Its such a great series! So glad I picked it up…the pilot is so good, and the rest of the series doesn't ever fall flat, except maybe the Cousin (Amy Sedaris) episodes.
To each his own…I still stand by my opinion of the episode.
There have been some really great episodes of HIMYM, but Raising Hope at its best is like a really good movie. The camera shots, the overall quality, the directing… Its above and beyond traditional sitcoms in that way.
agree! Community is a different type of comedy to me…they can't compare. Raising hope I can watch over and over and it makes me feel good, warm and fuzzy. Community is great in another way, a much harsher brutal reality that is fun at the same time. Like the difference between Taxi and The Brady Bunch.
I could be wrong, but according to the listings at
http://www.thefutoncritic.c… the show's episodes get tossed around quite a bit. The last 3 episodes that played were 213, 210, 212, in that order. However, this episode wasn't the highest number they have planned out (see the link above) so I doubt it was supposed to…
I honestly thought she'd be mad…but then again, she did put up with a LOT of Wyatt's dumbness and was happy he showed at Halloween and also nearly went to Africa with him. I think she is a little blind to manipulation when it comes to love.
Yes, an amazing voice! I was blown away!!
But Hemlock is sooo turn of the century! ;)
I think its a clever mechanism. Think about it…new stories that twist the well known stories we heard as children and then add back in the very familiar Disney "easter eggs" and styles to keep viewers entranced and connected. Billions of people are fans of Disney…they will watch the show for that similarity and I…
Now that everything has been said that can be said, I have two more words…. Ridiculous Cage! That was all I could think about when I saw the two Nic Cage's sitting side by side.
I can actually listen to Lana Del Ray's album. She just has no skills or any good songs for live performances. Karmin on the other hand…yuck.
