Sue is fast becoming my favourite character.. She's just so badass and, from what we've seen, actually competent.

Weren't they wearing earphones?

I don't think that insulting Brett Ratnr was fan-service. I think they truly hate Brett Ratner. I mean, it's kind of hard not to.

I literally yelped in agony when I read that.
I actually thought it was even better than The Great Game. Of course, it had a lot more to build on.
Nothing constructive to say, but I Internet!adore you for the Cabin pressure quote.
The whole cast is down right fantastic. Even Hale's Buster redux doesn't annoy me (Disclaimer: I really like him on AD, but ever since that he's hit a point of diminishing returns for me)
I really don't think Elena knew she had vampire blood in her system. I assume she remained unconscious until she woke up in the hospital after Meredith had already injected her with it.
But wasn't the gay part a misdirect? Thankfully the show didn't delve into Moriarty's sex-life, but for some reason I was under that impression.
Yeah, this show is fun, brilliantly acted by almost every single cast member and can pack a pretty heavy emotional wallop if need be, but far too much of the time it just does not make sense. B+ sounds completely fair.
Pulver is 4 years younger.

@avclub-69514eb1d6291e21ec2df6f143c0e801:disqus sorry, bad phrasing. I have thesis-brain or something. What I meant was, in the climactic moments they used this dramatic music that felt really out of place in the generally low key atmosphere. Especially because the actors (mainly Capaldi) were more than capable of…
Actually I think The Thick Of It is pretty understandable even if you don't have such a great grasp of British politics. I got it rather well.
Also, was I the only one who was incredibly put off by the use of music in In The Loop?
I think it was rather accurate. The end product is visually mesmerizing, but devoid of any deeper emotion. Also, the slow-mo, hazy-lensed sex scene was embarrasing (yet, again, visually striking).
