A great reference! I miss Deadwood. HBO better not screw the pooch like they did with that show (my #1 besides Breaking Bad…sorry The Wire).

Only four left? I guess I knew this but didn't want to admit it. Not a single episode this season has been a let down. Each one leaves me wanting more. I don't really see how Nucky can regain power…maybe as Jimmy's reinvigorated mentor but I think Jimmy would bristle at that notion.

Holy fuck your reviews are pessimistic. Did Ryan Murphy fondle you in a shower or something? What's with the venom for a show that is just a nonsense carnival ride?  Save you vehemence for the second season when it all goes to shit.

I love this show and the brutal honesty of it sort of just tears me up. This episode and the last one were really beautifully ugly television.

Alright…this has bugging me all season and it's something I never noticed before. Does anyone hear a strange background noise that they put in the audio mix? You know I love reading the write-ups of my other favorite shows on the AV Club but I really don't get the vitriol against AHS. I am loving this insane ride. Maybe the reviewer should stick to more average TV fair like something with doctors saving patients and shit.

I suffered through the first two seasons of this but I really think its improved in the third season. Can't quite put my finger on it but I like it. Naked Lenore is always good too.

How about a review about the episode instead of a diatribe about how AHS isn't like LOST. No kidding.

I really dug this episode. From the poisoned cupcakes to the House outwitting and then brutally killing the invaders it was a lot of good, spooky fun.

Out of sheer Saturday morning laziness I decided yo watch this On Demand. It wasn't great but it wasn't the poison oak rash on your balls everyone is making it out to be.

This might do for my cop show until Southland comes back. That is coming back isn't it?

This was far and away a better pilot than the awful, stagey, 2 Broke Girls.

Despite Kat Dennings' assets this show was pretty bad. Who the hell uses a laugh track nowadays? The jokes were raunchy but not funny. I might give it one more episode since pilot's almost always suck (except for Lost, BSG, Breaking Bad, Boardwalk Empire, Deadwood…er scratch that…this show won't be around after…

Halloween III is something I watch every Halloween. From the dated look, the Silver Shamrock song, kids being eaten by bugs, the sexy chick, the pumpkin graphic made on a Commodore 64, and the goofy special effects I think this movie is a winner.

I think this is a great idea. I am loving the show but never read the books (not much of a fantasy/sci-fi reader) so this helps me keep things straight. I think after the season id over I might try the novels. I can't believe they stabbed Ned from behind!
