True about slashing the face with the razor, and I suppose that was the intention considering the later club scene with Chalky and the good doctor. No reason for the rhyme (it's not like Nucky is being compared to a unruly bar patron) but it has to be intentional, maybe?

Personally I find Meg Steedle far too annoying.  I don't doubt that she's a good actress, but as she piroutted and sang and talked on the phone to the other guy I wondered if Steve Buscemi was going to take that razor to her throat.

I disagree, I was waiting for somebody to finally detail suburban dissatisfaction, the malaise of average existence, and the difficulties of repairing a broken relationship.  The fact that the author happens to be a famous actress has no real bearing on this sort of groundbreaking material.
