What?  Characters have to represent things, or they don't belong in a 4000 page long fantasy trilogy?  That is complete nonsense.

Yep.  I was the opposite in fact.  I didn't like the movies because I felt they stripped out everything that wasn't an action movie.  So criticizing the books for not having this action-movie aesthetic comes off like the words of somebody who shouldn't have bothered reading the books in the first place.

Wait, that's what happens in the final episode of "Fringe" as well.

Understandable, though.  He had a couple great albums but nothing that strikes as a radio single (DW)ITAHB,WAGG is a great song but certainly Al Green or Stevie Wonder's singles were a lot more radio friendly.  Impressions music is awesome but sounds pretty dated, like the Platters or something.

Linked article is interesting - with the idea that all three members would release albums at the same time, and the best-selling album win $1.5 million.  It's a way better concept than "The White Album."

Side B of Abbey Road was all the rage so I think people got psyched when McCartney did this.  There's also a few from Band on the Run that were the same way.

I was really excited for the show, but found it completely unfunny and basically unwatchable.  The characters felt like half a joke stretched out for a full episode, in particular the Tony Hale character wears out his welcome after maybe his second appearance.
