Barney & Robin seemed like a good match, but I think everybody agrees those episodes with them together were as boring as sin. 

This was just about the most boring hour of TV ever filmed.  A hour-long zombie show without zombies.  The characters are flat and impossible to care about, so when the episode falls back on character relations I have no reason to watch.  OK sure, the scene at the end with the two strangers was good, but it wasn't…

Conceptually it sucks that the character left in the season before last.  In execution I thought the new Dax and her relation to Worf made the whole symbiont thing more interesting and plus the new actress (even if she wasn't amazing) at least wasn't the negative presence Jadzia Dax was.

Girl with the crutches is going to be taking up the slack.  Showrunner played a game or two of "Katawa Shoujo" and decided to work that angle into Boardwalk Empire.

She's like a Power Puff girl come to life.  Maybe aggressively asexual.  It's almost out-of-place when the videos have hints of her sticking her ass out or whatever.

The joke is that AV Club wrote a couple articles about them that uncharacteristically came off as payola, except in a weird over-the-top sort of way, like they were the greatest band ever.

The thing about this is you are right.  Seasons 5-7 were absolute classic, season 8-9 were self parody.  Just kind of a weird cartoon.  If I was Seinfeld I would pull a George Lucas and try to get the originals pulled from public distribution.

I tried to get them running under dosbox (using boxer, a really great front-end for Macs) but the speech doesn't run which sort of breaks the game.  All the roms out there are the speech-pack versions.

Sorry to be a hater, but Grim Fandango has cool art that isn't consistent and its gameplay boils down to the classic adventure game trope of "total random shit happens so just walk around, take every item and click it on every other item and hope you get lucky."
