gil mann: I'm not about to listen to an Olivia Munn Adam Carolla interview, do you mind giving a quick summary on what she said?

Google maps puts Bloomington->Grand Canyon as a 27 hour drive.  And that's going the speed limit…you can drive 90+ a good part of the way.

Which is bullshit, horse is delicious.

Unless the Akira re-make is still set in Neo-Tokyo why shouldn't the lead be a white guy?  For instance when they did an American re-make of "Dinner for Schmucks" they didn't use an all-French cast.

She finds out about her husband's affair and then when her husband tries to apologize, she starts shrieking like a hysteric woman and runs off onto the street.  In what possible way is that a bad ass?

Watch Mabuse on DVD just because the commentary track is without doubt the best commentary track ever made.

I feel ripped off!  That was a crap review of Sub Rosa.  Not even a review.  What the fuck.

Read a couple pages of this and it fucking dragged.  Looked ahead and saw it went on for seven or eight more.  I'm all about over-analysis of pop culture but what the fuck?

Third

You know, I wouldn't be surprised if he's a great guy, even though I tend not to like the movies he acts in.

US won, it stopped England from kidnapping sailors, it prevented creation of a buffer Indian nation to stop westward expansion, and it convinced England not to dick around with the US.  It was never "the war to occupy all of Canada."

My mistake about the critical acclaim.  I thought for some reason it had been published in the UK first and received so-so reviews and a fatwah before being published internationally to better reviews.

Satanic Verses was shit.  The critics acclaimed after the fatwa.

Lazy because the character seems pretty stock and overly convenient.
