Martin may be my favorite character on the entire show, and that's arguably his finest moment. (Runner up would be singing Summer Wind at the end of "Bart of Darkness.")

I prefer Marvel's AgeNts of S.H.I.E.L.D., or MANOS.

I'm pretty excited by this. The novel is great, and if anything could do it justice, it's a Soderbergh miniseries.

Most actual novelists are frustrated novelists.

This is awesome news. Eternal Youth is one of my favorite albums—at least after I made a playlist that stripped away the boring instrumental tracks—and I love me some Claudia Gonson.

I'm a huge Forsyth fan—he's the novelist I turn to the most when I'm looking for a smart, cleverly plotted read. Jackal is the best, but The Odessa File and The Dogs of War are very good as well.

If you've never seen the AMA Ken Jennings did on Reddit, you need to check it out now—it's one of the greatest things I've ever seen on the Internet:

Thanks. I've basically sworn to make this reference in every relevant thread since this movie was first announced.

I've recently become obsessed by Murch, so it's a movie I'm hoping to check out again soon. It did scare the hell out of me when I was six.

OZ THE GWEAT AND TEWWIBLE

First Charlie Callas, now this. If I were Adrian Zmed, I'd be feeling a little nervous.

How I Did It by J.K. Rowling.

I'm surprised they didn't do an homage to the scene where Victor Laszlo sneaks pills into Major Strasser's jelly beans.

"Disappointed" is great. I'm also fond of the second Electronic album, which is really catchy and fun.

I'm almost glad it's back now, because otherwise the snarky comment I posted on the Alec Baldwin thread just makes me look crazy.

"You merely climbed Mount Everest. I was born on it."—Tenzing Norgay

But what does this have to do with Stoker?

I'm going to start collecting copies of one of Joan Didion's essay collections. Maybe Slouching Towards Bethlehem?

This is going to get ugly fast.

I'm still amazed that more than half of that video's viewers clicked the "dislike" button.
