I find it hard to believe that she can be making THAT much money as a dance instructor. She has a LOT of expensive looking stuff. I took dance when I was younger and while the dance studio owners (like Alyssa Edwards) looked to be doing quite well, I never got the impression that the lowly instructors were raking it

"Shoot her! Shoot her in the face!"

I also like when she has to tell him his raised fist is still "a little Hitler-y".

I totally DO use that, whenever anyone compliments me.

I love G-String Circus, but Roy Rogers McFreely edges it out as my favorite Stan/Hayley episode. Doesn't hurt that it has a strong Roger presence doing one of his greatest characters. It just has so many laughs.

True, I liked that he wasn't automatically siding with that Captain and sent him back to England to be court-martialed and was all "save it, you're a drunk and a disgrace of an officer, you are NOT excused". And I do adore Burn Gorman.

Seriously, that baby had no fucks to give. Jamie Bell tried so hard to engage that kid and it wouldn't look directly at him, no matter what. Hilarious.

Yay, my screen name and its origins got mentioned! woot!

I agree about "Bondage and Beta Male Superiority" being the worst of the season (so far?). Definitely off-putting. The Hickey/Abed stuff was kinda interesting but not funny enough and the whole Jeff/Britta/Duncan storyline just made me feel kinda sick. I got uncomfortable just reading the episode description that

I….am, in fact, seriously pained to hear that. It'd be fine if it just wasn't around anymore but to bastardize it like that?!

I seriously thought the first commercial was an actual 80's GI Joe commercial. And even as the commercials became part of the story, I still thought maybe they just re-dubbed some actual commercials. ….of course, my dreams were dashed when Wingman slapped his inner child in the face. They were just SO exact! Down

Wow, I'm really surprised at the ambivalence about this episode in the comments. I thought it was pure genius and laughed my ass off. But yes, I am old enough that I watched the GI Joe cartoons.

"All the way with Stephanie Kay!" ….seriously, Stephanie, WORST student council campaign slogan ever.

yeah, if I remember correctly, Erica herself was pretty un-conflicted about it which honestly matches real life better in my opinion. The friends I had who got abortions weren't conflicted, they were just realistic, like "I'm 15, I'm not having a baby, there *is* a way out of this, and I'm taking it." And I was only

From what I've read, the episode was shown in the States but some stuff was cut out, like the creepy anti-abortion protester at the clinic shoving a plastic fetus in Erica's face and yelling "This is your baby!" (burned into my mind forever, thanks OG Degrassi), and that they edited the episode to make it ambiguous as

Me too! I loved her look, accessories and all—the only thing I would change is the white lipstick.

2 litres. I don't know what that is in American.

and the rest of the world would say "wtf, your national sport is lacrosse???" yes. yes, it is. because we like to keep you guessing.

that would be awesome. I used to work at an AT&T call centre and there was nothing better than explaining a $1000 phone bill to a parent because there's this new thing called 'texting' (it was 2004) and it ain't free.

ugh, yes, a life of nothing but Dutchies? not worth living.
