That is one hundred percent true. I discovered him a little late… I feel short-changed that none of my professors ever mentioned him. They can't drool on Kafka enough, but never mentioned old Borges. It's a crime, I tell you!

Is your avatar Borges?! I'm currently finishing Labyrinths… I fucking love Borges.

I feel the same. Also, Archers of Loaf. I actively dislike a lot of the Crooked Fingers stuff I've heard. Not sure how that works.

For all that happened, we may as well have gone as friends… my mom drove her home afterward. My Nana was in the front, too… just so embarrassing.

you know it!!!

I have a buddy who says it sometimes… one of my favorite portmanbreaux.

I may have mentioned this here before, but I went to see this on my first ever date. The girl I went with smoked cigarettes in the lobby until the movie started, so she wouldn't have a 'nic fit' during the movie. We were 13. How times have changed…
COOL STORY BROSEPHUS!!!

Looking back, you're probably right. My troll-dar isn't as sensitive as it could be…

That description reminds me of the Louie episode where he follows the bully wrestler kid back to Staten Island or whatever, and ends up smoking cigarettes with the kid's dad and commiserating about how kids will break your heart.

I really like the podcast too, and was surprised when I tried his standup and thought he was pretty terrible. I loved when Norm MacDonald was on, and he asked Maron if he thought he was a better interviewer or standup. Before Maron could answer, Norm said 'I know which one it is. I just want to know if YOU know.'

Yup. Got me a master's load of debt, too. *spits tobacco juice, scratches balls*

Liked for the random Mark Twain burn.

Louder Than Lannister

He teabagged all the foreign ships coming into the harbor, after all…

Definitely true… I was there to learn how to turn it up, but never really got the hang of it. It's pretty exhausting.

Good point… might be a lot of angst in his story. Maybe he beat his kids, drank too much, couldn't maintain a relationship, all because John wanted him to comb his hair forward and he WOULDN'T DO IT.

I've noticed a bit of a drop, as well. My hope is that they just have a lot of new people, and they're getting their sea legs. That's my hope, anyway.

Who IS the least interesting Beatle? I know the obvious answer is Ringo, but Ringo is kind of a weird guy. Ooh! Pete Best. Pete Best is the least interesting Beatle. I think he became a grocer.

Seconded on the zombies. I can't believe it's gone on this long. it's like it's some kind of cultural… zombie. Or something.

I used to feel like this about The Rocky Horror Picture Show. I was in drama in high school, and all the other drama nerds went like EVERY WEEK and wanted to TIME WARP all the time. Now it's just been so long that I'm afraid seeing it will be super anticlimactic.
