There was a mistake, but it's Nobody's Fault. SHAZAM!

I like this Beak band better… http://www.youtube.com/watc…
I used to be in a band that covered 'In Curdles' off that album… I have a real soft spot for it.
I think their best - and by far creamiest - album is Dairy. (sorry, couldn't resist!)
Good point… can't have too many Captain Jacks running around.
Don't you mean death's just trying to DIE on this big ol' ball of dirt? Wait, that sounds weird… well, so were Hitler, Stalin and Chuck E. Cheese, and you see how that turned out.
God damn you, God! Just heard Rik Mayall died… can't wait for the Newswire to say fuck death in the fucking ear.
I wish we lived in a world where guys like this were our saints. I saw him speak once in 2002 or so, after reading him for years. It wasn't exactly a religious experience, but it made me very happy.
Ha. Not even kidding, one of the big reasons I became intrigued with this site was the commentariat's tendency to rag on authors and other commenters for grammatical errors. As soon as I saw that one, I scrolled down to see if anyone had mentioned it yet. Not disappointed. Fallout from j-school, I guess.
Dude. My wife's been watching Bones lately… seriously, I'm a little worried about the average viewer. They put half-rotten bodies in every episode for a reason. People have to like that shit or they wouldn't watch. Law and Order and the CSIs are pretty bad about it too.
WHOOO! WTFisold-schoolStarzjokesLOL!!!
It's a running joke from who knows when… it was going on when I started coming here a few years ago, anyway.
At the height of my mania, I had something like 20 at one time. Lots of Underwoods and Coronas, mostly. I did briefly have an Olivetti like the one at the link, but I think it was an older model. I actually gave it to a buddy of mine, since it had a plastic body and I didn't like the way it scooted around on the desk.…
As mentioned above, I used to collect them, which usually required some basic rehab. When you get in there and take one apart, you realize how insanely engineered manual typewriters are. It's crazy to me how an industry can refine a machine like that over time, only to have it become completely anachronistic and…
I started collecting manuals back in the 90s. You could pick them up at any thrift store at the time for five bucks, and they're really engineering marvels. I liked using them because they make it impossible to obsess over sentences and paragraphs in first drafts. You kind of have to just move on, unless you want to…
Exactly. I know I'm a little bit sensitive, being that I live in Oklahoma, but noodling really is pretty fringe. It'd be like if the movie was set in New Jersey, and the characters all went out to get spray tans together.
I felt personally insulted by Leaves of Grass. When Felicity said she was going noodling in the morning and invited academic Edward Norton along to experience the 'real' Oklahoma, I had to turn it off.
Girl flavor's pretty good too…
I'm glad this band is evolving. I like the older stuff, but it seems like there's a ton of similar throwback groups in the last couple of years. Gotta stay ahead of the old curve.
Weird… I said Brains Benton, went and looked at something else and came back and my comment is gone. Thanks, ODisqus!
