I never heard of no Bai Link… but I googled her, and she seems like a pretty good actoress.

Looking back at those lyrics, it's funny how knee-jerk homophobic they are. When they can't think of anything else to say, Jerry's a queer. I can relate, since I grew up in a place where gayness was the default go-to when you wanted to put someone/thing down. But it's kind of disconcerting, all the same.

Granted, I was like seven the last time I saw the whole thing, but the 1979 Salem's Lot scared the ever-loving shit out of me back then. I watched some clips online a while back, and it still has a really creepy feel to it for me. David Soul kind of sucks, but the tone overall I think is pretty good, considering it's

I don't remember seeing the movie version of it, but written version of The Raft is one of my favorites from Skeleton Crew, which has a lot of good stories.

My only gripe about the movie version is that in the book, Paul Sheldon is a lot more sympathetic because you're in his head so much. James Caan is fantastic, but the medium doesn't lend itself to some of the stuff going on in his head.

I used to work at a minor league baseball team, running camera. We had headphones and talked throughout each game… there was a player from some other city named Lunberg. His name wasn't even exactly the same, but every single time the guy walked out, one of us would say 'Hell, Lumberg fucked her.'

I'm not familiar with the album overall, but that Life and Limb song is awesome.
