I was sort of thinking right along those lines… but I don't really want to guess exactly where things are going. Never a good idea on this show. I was just thinking what would a neat way be to fit the side flashes in so that they made sense in the overall plot.

I think that in season 6, the "flash sideways" is the present, and the on-island events are a flash forward. I think in the sideways storyline, we're going to see them remember what happened before, and that by nuking the island they allowed evil to sink the island. So they'll get a Jacobian chance to go…
