Still debating if I want to pick up some Convergence titles.

I'm the same way. I'll always be grateful for what he did on The Flash and JSA, and to a lesser extent Green Lantern

My grandma is 93 and remembers everything. Everyone thinks she's at least 20 years younger. Her husband was also a WWII vet (there's a street named after him in his hometown) who unfortunately died back when my dad was only like 13.

My problem with Season 4 was how often they paired up Leslie and Ben, and I don't mean in a romantic way. I feel like once they got past the will they/won't they, they played off all the other characters better.

Brienne's storyline is heartbreaking. Her narration seems so mechanical and like two chapters before the end she just breaks down in tears.

Yup. Every character has gotten better except for Paul.

I'd have to agree, though there was only one episode that I thought was bad in Season 2 (Hello, Tony).

I have yet to Smash with you but I'm pretty sure we're friends.

Marry Me annoyed me even though it was Happy Endings-lite.

Can't wait to watch it after work.

How long before John Oliver becomes the next Patton Oswalt in the AVClubbers eyes? I hope not for at least ten more years.

Pretty much and he probably would have treated Lyanna only slightly better. He seemed to have an idealized vision of Lyanna and he was more in love with the idea of her (especially with those theories hat she ran off with her own consent)

As cool as Robert's Rebellion would be, there's no way they could cast Sean Bean or Mark Addy without them looking weird with makeup/prosthetics to look younger.

Feast and Dance flow better when you read them together (there's a chapter order you can easily find online). But yeah. He split them up so the first half of Dance goes along with all of Feast. And there are tons of tedious chapters you'd have to slog through.

Same.

I mean it was pretty obvious that GotG was going to get a sequel.

Heroes will fight amongst themselves then team up to take down the greater evil.

I loved Superstar Saga but if you didn't care for it the first time, I doubt you'll like it now.

Bedard's not bad but he's not one of my favorites. Like I know he's a competent writer but most of his work I've read has been mediocre and nothing outstanding.

I only read it once (I should really dig it out and try again sometime) but didn't some of the things with the New Gods happen off-panel? I mean was anything really resolved?
