Rereading Feast and Dance as one definitely enhanced the last two books and had it flow much better. I definitely recommend it to anyone who wasn't that crazy for the 4th and 5th books but are planning on rereading it anyways. You can find the reading order via google.

Man, I agree with some of your points but then disagree with others.

That's good to know. There are tons of older stories I want to read but haven't been collected and/or are crazy expensive.

Yeah, I'd much rather have a physical copy. I pretty much stored all the ones I don't want to reread at my parents', and only the worthy ones are on my book shelf or box at my apartment.

Ah, that's a shame. I hated how dark the series was becoming.

Ugh. War Games was the worst (idea was solid but the execution was a mess) but I don't know if it's due to Steph's "death" or the assassination of Leslie Thompkins' character. Seriously, she treated straight-up villains before but let Steph "die" to prove a point to Batman.

I've been rereading No Man's Land and am really excited to reread the trial of Gordon. (Did Rucka write that?)

I don't mind continuity issues as long as the current run is consistent. I mean it sucks how everything in Green Arrow seemed to be fitted more towards the show after Lemire left, but at least that means I don't need to spend money and I can still enjoy Lemire's run.

I feel the same way. I stopped around the time of Final Crisis and mostly would splurge like three or four times a year and buy a bunch of trades (two of those times are around Hannukah and my birthday)

I almost lost interest with the show during Season 2 since I found that to be incredibly dull (though I didn't mind the changes to Dany's storyline since she does even less in the books).

I'm strictly DC as well though the last few years they've made it easier for me. I've only followed (through trades) Animal Man, Swamp Thing, Batman & Robin, and Lemire's Green Arrow run. I'm tempted to pick up Wonder Woman.

How has Invincible been since issue 70ish?

Apparently DC is going to focus more on characters and less on continuity (not that continuity was all that important to nu52). But I hope that means writers can choose different eras/worlds to focus on, or mash up the different eras and get back to pre-nu52.

Yeah, I know. But back during my peak of the obsession, that was the best place to read theories. Then those theories became theories on when the next book will be released with custom charts and taking GRRM quotes out of context. And the constant complaining about the changes from the books (which some of my friends

You're being a real Tyrion right now.

There's a difference between the hardcore fans that post on the reddit subthread and find faults with every decision, and the casual show-watchers. I enjoy hanging out with the show-watchers more since they don't take it so damn serioudly

"And the comet came hurdling to Earth as King Rickon watched in horror."

Take as long as you want, George. It's funny watching the book elitist lose their shit and act all entitled.

Rereading Batman: No Man's Land. Still on the first trade (out of five) and finishing up the Huntress/Scarecrow story.
