I was amazed to discover that Indian food, on the whole, is better in France than in Britain. You'd expect Indian food to be better where there are more Indians. Unfortunately, the British try to make it their own, whereas France doesn't mess with success.
On the other hand, you can always cry "cultural appropriation."
