Are they small, or have we just decided to go with it because it annoys him?

Is this a real concern? We don't lash out at tourists from other unpopular countries; I sincerely doubt that ordinary citizens would exact widespread collective punishment on paying visitors.

There won't be more coal mining jobs. There will be, best case scenario, a slightly slower decline in coal mining jobs.

But the states did not. That's how it works.

Most certainly, and the political culture there reinforces it. Ten years ago, I remember hearing a radio story about how today's children would grow up watching Chinese kids' shows. But they aren't, because youth-oriented media that above all mandates unwavering loyalty to a government that is (a) not your own and (b)

Japan in the 80s had far more avenues to cultural expansion and export than China does now, because it's a democracy.

Remember the 10 Agorot Controversy! She covered them up, but at the same time secretly publicized in inconsequential manner that only serial conspiracy theorists would ever read into!

By reason, it should be. But if it was, we wouldn't be here.

You know, this is as true of Australia as it is anywhere else, but here goes:

(Officious Catalan nationalists beat the shit out of Shock and Au Contraire)

These people don't like history; the discipline is too centrist for their tastes. But if they did, they'd know that revolutions are traditionally led by the educated middle class. When powerless people revolt, it's a rebellion, and they're mostly just rape, murder, and cannibalism.

I live in LA and still have to deal with people like that. I saw on facebook yesterday a serious debate about how post-apocalyptic movie costumes are part of a propaganda campaign by neoliberal economists colluding with Nazis to kink-shame the BDSM community.

And yet we keep having them.

It only takes one man to be an asshole.

I'm making a rhetorical point. Fundamentalism in America has trained adherents to view faith as a transactional affair, whereby every individual is responsible for God's actions. It's preschool religion, and is one of the main canards held up by noxious New Atheists to demean the entire concept of faith.

That sort of thing is usually what gets us here, rather than the other way around.

Aren't most of those people minors? I mean, we assume they're adults because we don't see them, but all indication is that these people are minors.

Don't need to. We have elections.

Pride > reason. It is always a good day to die.

Because God is your fucking genie.
