Oh my goodness, I hope you're right! That would be both awesome and heartbreaking - exactly how I like my Fringe.

I did like this episode but I found myself wishing for more while watching… I guess knowing we've only got 13 episodes to wrap it all up, I'm waiting for closure on everything, which I'm guessing is not going to happen (the Earth-2 guys, Rachel & Ella, September etc).
Two things I would really love though:
1) More…

Also, didn't Amelia wait in the version of the universe that doesn't exist since the Doctor rebooted it in The Big Bang? I know Amy still has the memories because it happened to her and he came back, but doesn't the actual point in space/time now not exist? I'm fully prepared to be wrong about this though.

I was just happy to see the River from SITL/FOTD again, rather than the caricature of her we've seen in her last couple of episodes. The bit where the Doctor grabbed her hand and the pause that followed took my breath away.

They've done it like three or four times now and I'm so over it. It was cute the first time, when I could justify it as a 'reference' to Grease, but now it's just a bad copy.

I love that Finn turned up at Rachel's wearing that same fucking hoodie he's worn every season.

I know he's almost definitely long-since dead, but I would just love to see September one last time before Fringe ends.

I'm not sure about 'no hiccups', but the last time I was actually wowed by an episode of Doctor Who was The Pandorica Opens/The Big Bang. I've enjoyed quite a few episodes since then, but they've all just been lacking something, in my view.
