I'm a bit torn on Ti West. Loved House of the Devil the first time, but on repeat viewings all that nothing happening doesn't play very well. As for The Innkeepers, I enjoyed the build up a lot more than the payoff. However, his segment in V/H/S is one that stuck with me the most, and the end still freaks me out.

Yes, I remember tearing through this book in about a day and really enjoying it. Had no idea it was being made into a movie.

As someone who doesn't follow sports and therefore hasn't heard from Dennis Miller since the Bordello of Blood days, can someone explain what he's done in recent years that makes him so awful?

I'm kind of bothered that Halloween III seems to be finding a new appreciation. Cool concept, yes, but it's executed in the most boring way imaginable.

I'm with you, Nibbles, I love all 3 movies. Halloween 4 is also great, and probably second to the original in terms of quality.

I agree about Stowe. I've always found her to be terribly miscast in this role, and my secret hope was for Victoria to burn in the plane crash, get plastic surgery, and come back as a different actress.

I love campy TV, and while Revenge reaches those heights on occasion, for the most part it's kind of a snooze. I'd recommend the new Dallas or American Horror Story for camp done right.

I really liked the pilot, though I wasn't as sold on Liu's performance. It did read as phoned in to me, but it's possible I'm just not used to seeing her play so subtle. She was fantastic earlier this year on Southland, so maybe it's a performance I'll warm to in coming weeks.

Pretty sure he's only missed one episode out of 3 seasons, so of he wants to open that mouth and go down on the man, I think he's entitled.
