I wouldn't exactly call Louie a "sweet" comedy, but The AV Club is all over that even when the episodes stink. So maybe it's sweeter than I think?

This is not a Todd VanDerWerff review, so chances are the grade actually makes sense.

Pretty great episode.

After pouring something like $20 million and 45 years of production into the Terra Nova pilot, Fox decides to air it against Monday Night Football, Dancing With the Stars, and the massive CBS comedies. Oh, and with no lead in of any kind to give it a boost. Clever!

I would like to have sex with him. That is all.

I agree. I thought Jionni came across as a crazy, overreacting asshole, though it wasn't surprising since he's been acting that way on the phone all season long. I'm surprised Marah would give him a pass, as he obviously seems emotionally abusive and extremely manipulative.

I'm watching Secret Circle and 2 Broke Girls. That's it so far, though I'll definitely check out Homeland as well.

I could be wrong, but I fully expect this to be canceled after 13 episodes. It may premiere big, but well, FlashForward and The Event also had pretty decent ratings at first, and look what happened to them.

This episode was so nonsensical that I felt high while watching it. The weirdest part had to be the photo shoot mission statement: "Create a hot dog that represents your one-word BRAND, then pose with it while expressing your BRAND, and by the way your BRAND may be a totally abstract, non-hot-dog-compatible word like

Did anyone else think "ORGASM!" when there was all that heavy breathing followed by an exploding light bulb? Talk about a metaphor. So many exploding orgasm bulbs in this ep.

I think you're both being too kind to this pilot, which indeed should play, as Carrie puts it, like "the second coming of those gloriously over-the-top ’80s soaps like Dynasty or Knots Landing." It takes itself too seriously to be campy fun, but it's so poorly written and structured that it certainly doesn't work as

The titular "psycho" in this video is pretty hot, which I think sends an important message that crazy guys are the sexiest.

Totally forgot she was in Hitchhiker's Guide. Until this I'd seen her most recently in The Happening, and well, we all know what kind of impression that movie leaves.

Yes, once an actor plays a gay guy he should obviously be typecast as gay for the rest of his life. I can't even LOOK at Jake Gyllenhaal without thinking of him getting rogered in a tent.

I actually thought this pilot was okay, which came as a surprise to me because the marketing for the show is TERRIBLE. Anyone who finds Zooey Deschanel even slightly irritating is going to see those ads, vomit immediately, and avoid the show at all costs. I don't blame them, but she's actually fairly good and charming

I would gladly have his babies, but I'm a dude and not from Canada. Dammit!

So is Max Allan Collins a decent writer? I see his books everywhere, but I tend to assume someone who wrote the novelization for G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra must be pretty shitty.

I would love to switch to Amazon, but until I can watch their content on my TV they're completely useless to me.

I don't know how to feel about this episode. On the one hand, it was very eventful and featured no Ron & Sam drama, so props for that. On the other hand, Snooki and Deena's behavior sent my cringe-o-meter flying off the charts, which is, oddly enough, something that never happens when I watch this show. I think it's

I'm going to go out on a limb and say this actually isn't a bad idea. The original already SOUNDS like a CW show, so why not? All you need to do is replace Ron Perlman and Linda Hamilton with, like, Milo Ventimiglia and Aly Michaelka. Boom, done.
