Marksoc, The AV Club's lists nearly always start with a recent film as a springboard to dive into film history. Also, it must be lonely up there in your ivory tower. Hope you have a DS to play or something.

Hate Funny Games. My problem is that it's not nearly as disturbing or interesting as it thinks it is, and instead comes across like a two-hour wankfest dreamed up by a pretentious film student.

I love Scream 2. I get tired of seeing it lazily lumped together with the underwhelming third film just so people can say the sequels are inferior to the original.

I'm Quite Dry
Judging from the glorious Punisher: War Zone and the one episode of The Wire I watched, this guy is not a very good actor. Correct?

Todd: I do enjoy the episodes you give positive grades, but I rarely see them as being appreciably better than the episodes you give Ds and Fs. I find the episodes to be consistent quality-wise (in a good way), but it's possible we're just looking to get different things out of the show. To each his own!

I never agree with Todd about Glee, but a D seems particularly ridiculous for this episode.

Expletives!
I haven't screamed so loudly at the TV due to a stunning cliffhanger in quite a long time. Maybe since the Lost season 5 finale.

Grammar Stickler
I know I'm a privileged white male and probably not allowed to say this, but the title "For Colored Girls Who Have Considered Suicide When The Rainbow Is Enuf" is the worst title I've ever heard. Well, at least until the next Transformers movie comes out.
