What's even weirder is when you go to these shows from bands who have reunited after 20+ years and the entire audience skews younger than the band was out of existence.

Wait, how does that come in above John "Hot Plate" Williams or Earvin "Tragic" Johnson?
But then they have to put Gollum in the band. He probably plays a mean tambourine.
SIDEKICK!
It's obviously Michael Scott's wedding, which is the reason they don't explain who it is. The viewers don't care enough about any other relationship on the show.
Elektra, not Electro. You know what? Never mind, I'm going to need you to leave your nerd card here on my desk and leave the area immediately.
I remember mail ordering the "Hate Your Friends" LP almost exclusively because it was mentioned by somebody in Transworld Skateboarding. They were still considered punk at that point, although even then they were barely on the fringe of that.
I'm afraid that somebody said out loud "listening to Joe Pesci sing is an experience" and you somehow got confused.
I was just about to post the same thing. Except it was my local Zia records, and I bought it without having heard a single song. It was $8, bundled with the t-shirt. It was a pleasant surprise that I actually liked the album, I just figured worst case scenario it was a pretty cool shirt.

They also have the best casting director in TV, whoever does the casting for their show. Week after week it seems like they have some of the best guest stars, a lot of "Hey, I know that guy!" when you watch this.
Give Crowns a try (Stitches in the Flag). It's more English than Irish but feels like a Pogues/Clash baby in a weird way. I kind of love it a lot. Plus, Phil Chevron asked Crowns to open for The Pogues at a festival a little while back so it feels like they have some sort of blessing from the band.
That's not true. KUKQ (and "The Key" before them) broadcast all over the Valley at that time, and Zia Records was the go-to record store for most people I knew and the closest one to me was at 19th Avenue and Thunderbird. It was right next to Shirts N Things if I also wanted to massively overpay for imported t…
