Okay I feel like they are setting up the darkest timeline where Barrow commits suicide, and Violet dies alone in France separated from her family. Then they'll have to rename the dog, Violet.

I was kind of hoping they were setting up a situation where Mrs. Hughes was going to convince Mrs. Patmore that Barrow would be helpful at her B&B or something.

Even beyond that, I really don't like how they changed the way Julia found her people. Book Julia really had to bust ass to even FIND the hedge witches. She was largely destroyed before she even got to them. But in the show, they just roll up on her at some bar and go, "hey wanna be a witch?"

I guess Tom's just going to come full circle and spend the rest of his days working on cars.
