I loved Rubicon. How does that get canceled, but The Killing gets three seasons?

Jay-Z has actually done a lot of verses like that. Pretty much everything post Reasonable Doubt is pretty terrible.
And dude, Illmatic was released in the past 20 years, 36 Chambers, Liquid Swords, All Eyez on Me & Me Against the World. Eminem has had his career in the last two decades, so has Kweli, Mos Def, DOOM, the entire Wu Tang Clan, My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy is superficial pop-rap from a guy with no flow who can't…
I've listened to it through three times, the best verse on the whole album belongs to Nikki Minaj, and Nikki Minaj is a terrible terrible rapper. The beats are fantastic, can't argue that, Runaway is a great song (Pusha T's verse is terrible) and you can feel the self-loathing through it, the beat especially is…
As someone of this generation, and as someone who loves rap, I can tell you, he is no genius, not even close. He's a below average to bad rapper (weak lyrics, poor flow, and like his mentor Jay-Z can't even be bothered to rhyme half the time), and above average producer. There are plenty of rappers who are…
If you like hip hop, start at College Dropout and end at College Dropout.
Won't complain too much. Surprised Fringe isn't on there, Sons, Shameless and Spartacus and to a lesser extent, Awake. I'm gonna chalk up Shameless and Spartacus not being on as being on too early in the year, and people forgetting about them. I'd probably also throw The League on there as well. Also, I've never seen…

I thought the intro was a perfect way to connect the two trilogies, and the "unexpected party" was treated exactly how it was in the book. As a fan of the book, my expectations were sky high and the were still met. I seriously don't get a lot of the complaints about this movie. Maybe some specific examples would help.

And if I remember the book correctly, Bilbo woke up to an empty house.

They were all hanging from a tree that was about to fall over a cliff. Bilbo was clearly the only one able to get up as quickly as he did.

I just saw it (in regular IMAX, didn't realize it wasn't the high frame rate one, I figured most expensive ticket at the theater would have the 48 FPS), and I have to say, all these critics are nuts. The movie is spectacular. There is one scene in the entire thing that could have been cut, but everything else works…

I don't know how or why Bon Jovi is popular. I didn't realize it was only an NY thing. I mean, Wanted Dead or Alive is an awesome song, everything else is terrible, not even remotely likeable.
