My sense is: it's never the kids' fault. I really liked a lot of her books, but RoEL's probably my favorite. Though, considering it, I'm not sure how different, from an adult perspective, it would've been from a well-written romance novel. (Note: I haven't read enough properly labelled "romance novels" to know.)
