A Freaks and Geeks reuinion might be too horribly bleak to fall anywhere close to the "comedy" section of the (now hypothetical) video store. Even Lindsay, with that ending of possibly morphing into a Deadhead runaway, could be a murdered groupie by now.

I saw this guy last year when he did a show at a bar in Lawrence, KS, and I've been a fan since. IDK about his Comedy Central show, but his album "Death of the Party" is really great. Seriously.

I can't believe you would compare a scientist to a nerd. So mean.

@OP: Hells yeah. One of my favorite directors paired w/ one of my favorite writers. This is the best news I've seen all day.

Hardcore and Mishima, fuck yes. I also like American Gigolo.

On the contrary, sucking one's own dick is exactly the sort of skill that would make a person an IDEAL Real World contestant.

I understand some of the 'Crash' hate, but I refuse to shill that "worst movie I've ever seen" bullshit. I have seen movies like RoboVampire and What Lies Beneath, so there's a perspective issue out there.

At least it's a junk we can all laugh at.

Rated PG
The Wiki entry told me that Texas Chainsaw Massacre was shooting for a PG rating, too, before the ratings board slapped it with an X.

My sister, who's a HS math teacher, guilted me into not seeing this movie. Out of solidarity, I'm waiting for the DVD.

In some sense these discussions probably come about due to demographic under-representation. Trashy, nice, slutty, prudish, scheming, schemed-upon—all these kinds of women, in some possible movie culture, would get screen time, and it wouldn't be a big deal. But in a culture that has stock characters who dominate the

Wait on it. Man's gotta age some first.

Heavy TV weekend: I watched Sopranos Season 4, then Inside, then Red Riding 1983—not really in that order.

What is it that makes 9 Songs "a mainstream movie"? Just the fact that M.W. had directed mainstream movies before and after it? Is it the film's (um) release mechanism?
