I recently found my 1984 paperback edition of 1984.

Agree with griffinxi and The Invisible Handjob, if you don't like Hitchhiker from the start, then it's not for you. Use your limited time on something else.

I recently finished Bram Stoker's Dracula and I really enjoyed it. The epistolary approach is like a nineteenth-century found footage. The fight scenes all seemed really short which shows how much the movies have warped my expectations.

I really liked The Bostonians.

Does what ever a Pig Jesus does.

I'm really baaaaaad at puns.

Ewe sure did.

Hope the barn has a spider Charlotte who can weave SOME BABY.

Star Trek: Into Darkness was boring and made no sense. That's not what "cold fusion" means. And why does Spock have to hand deliver it to the volcano?

I heard that one recently in the car with my son. It was the day before he had to go back to school and I was so disappointed that we didn't hear the yelling teacher at the end.

Nostalgia, I guess.

I'm here to make this post between watching season 3 of The Killing.

Oh. Thank you for the clarification. Wikipedia has him listed as Catholic. But I agree with your assessment of Gothic fiction.

Van Helsing is also a Catholic using crucifixes and Holy Wafers in Protestant Enlightened England.

In third season of The Killing. Hooked now. Guess it rains a lot in Seattle.

Spoiler: they discover that the true detective is in one's heart.

I think you're right.

"What I've got you've got to get and put it in you."

Van Halen's Jump. It's a fun song. And I'm old enough to remember when it was new. I turn it up whenever I hear it on classic rock radio. But wow is it stupid.
