This movie is actually really funny and self aware. Definitely had some third act problems (like when he's flying that airplaine just for the hell of it), but over all it is really way more out there than any mainstream film was at the time or is now. Really an underappreciated comedy classic.

…how is that unexpected?

That theory sounds both as plosives and as ungrounded as any other I've heard. But I do agree that they wouldn't call attention to his absence so much if Ontkean wasn't going to be involved in some way shape or form.

Bad Santa 2? Christmas in July, here I come!!

This fool expects something different than more of what's already worked. Sad!

Brolin was very good, but Chandler would be perfect in a movie about him. I would hope a film focusing on his horrible corruption and outward benevolence covering up the worst administration in history (in terms of getting things done; Trump's crew has yet to make anything stick).

I still think Kyle Chandler would be perfect to play George W Bush.

"How could any one be tired of Star Wars? It's only been 40 years!"—Rich Evans

Well, definitely won't see it now! Maybe it will bomb and we can give Star Wars a rest again.

Anything's possible in Twin Peaks.

That is certainly as unfounded a theory as any other theory I've heard!

"You look at it, I'm bitter."
-Joel, I think.

However, the album was recorded from 1991 until a few years ago. So he could easily have played leads on some of the tracks. Plus being in the studio (probably sitting down, taking as much time as he needs to warm up) is much better than grinding on tour for an old man.

Yes! I'm feeling like we won't see him, seeing as we don't hear his voice on the other end of the phone like we did with Doc Hayward the same episode. But it is adding some poignant elements to Frank's story.

How do people feel about Frank talking to Harry on the phone? The first time he did it (a few episodes back) I thought it was a little cheap. But now, they seem to be making Harry a character even without Michael Ontkean's presence. And that, is…something? Not sure how I feel about it.

What happened between Diane and Coop/evil Coop the last time she saw him?

I fucking love that movie.

It's so good! The comedy was lively and energetic, and I really dug the Charade-esque spoof of a Hitchcockian thriller.

I watched Silver Streak, The Mummy (1932), and rewatched a favorite of mine, Night of the Creeps
