I think I agree about Leatherface's first appearance. That scene was so brutal and really got under my skin. The most alarming and unsettling thing about that scene was that right after he bashes the poor guy on the head, and he falls down, he starts convulsing. Even though he's dead. Ugh. Jesus.

I enjoyed it as well.  Although I really don't think it should have been split into 3 movies, or if that was a necessity then perhaps they should each be 2 hours instead of 2.5, they really were stretching it thin in some parts.
