I had a Mighty Max toy. It was a scorpion that opened up into a bad guy's lair or something.
@giant spider yeah she has custom guitars too, and ended up eventually marrying the guy who makes them.
John Locke
I just finally watched The Thing too, and when I saw that chess scene I wondered if John Locke playing the computer in Patchy's place was a nod to that.
Yeah, I just mean buying it during fight scenes.
Peter Mofo-ing Bishop
I think Joshua Jackson would be badass for this.
@HatchetJob - yes, the Alton Brown shirts!
Marc Maron and Carl LaBove
It is definitely a moving episode, but you guys hit the nail in the head that it doesn't quite reach the two-part Louis CK and Judd Apatow episodes because of LaBove's delivery. I don't think he was engineering it that way, just that he's been speaking about this stuff for some years now, so…
WHAT?
"…(as well as proof he's never aged)" Ron Alpert!
Hair
Why is his hair so fucking weird? It's like a miniature park fountain.
Blooper Reel Recycle?
"Kevin will be eaten. Pam will be taken slave. Jim will be made a warlord's jester. Meredith will be okay." I remember Rainn Wilson cracking up on an apparently deleted scene that had almost identical dialogue to this, on a blooper reel from a past season.
I Don't Know If This Is Obvious Or Sacrilege
But more and more this season, at the end of an episode, I've wondered if the show didn't have Pierce and Shirley, would it hurt it? Or would it make things run tighter?
Marcel's SyFy Hair [Show]
I agree with being surprised it wasn't Tiffany. First Angelo, then Dale; my two favorites are now gone. Blais is fine and I'm pulling for him now, but Dale really began redeeming himself for me this season.
I agree with Donald Glover being a better singer. Yeah both shows might reference pop culture a lot, but Community skewers it, or weaves it into the plot. Where Glee just has listless, flat cover songs.
Paper mache
Toby's paper mache head blowing up was probably my favorite moment since back in season 5 or whatever when Michael says to Charles Miner "I. Understand. Nothing."
Ratings
I saw last week's episode dropped below 4 million viewers, eep. Hopefully this one gets back out of 3.xx territory.
At first I thought Troy accidentally said "Bequeef"
I've never really had any strong love or hate for Pierce, but that scene where he says into the camera "she's actually just my favorite" REALLY moved him up for me. Chevy Chase hit so many subtle notes during those few seconds, I almost teared up.
"travels the world uninstalling governments…"
I started reading that as "uninstalling Kazaa [on people's computers.]"
Yes, that sounds incredible.
Jerry Stiller's Delivery
I saw on one of the dvd special features that his unique delivery came from him not being able to remember his lines.
