John Hawkes
John Hawkes will walk up to receive his Oscar, but then Sayid will appear and slice him with an ancient knife.

Inspector Bellamy?
Is that with Bill Bellamy?
Very Indie-y
"Martha Marcy May Marlene." Yup. Sounds like a Sundance film.
Nice
Congrats sir!
I love it
All of these nominations make me grin like Ron Swanson when he finds out the government/Parks department is being shut down.
Swanson Pyramid Of Greatness
Haha, yes Ron Fucking Swanson would approve.
This all reminds me of…
I was coincidentally watching the Larry Sanders episode last night where Hank drags out his contract renegotiations, having a fake surprise-going-away-party he orchestrated himself, etc. That's what this reminds me of.
He has a jersey on that says "Puck U." Ugh.
Damn You
Damn you Banksy, damn you.
Lol @ "finishing"
Alison Brie, mmm I agree.
Yeah, seriously, but how was the film?
Keeps Gettin Better As It Goes
I've heard all the podcasts, etc. etc., and having seen the whole series, my patience was never tested. But I of course may like Karl more than the next person, and understand he doesn't mean to insult people. He does have a head like a fucking orange though.
Great Episode, Great Review
This season of Fringe has been near-perfect. Really nice write-up Zack. Especially your view of Peter as the seismic Freak on the show. But at least immediately, it seems he's important because he should be able to figure out to build the machine.
Awesome, thanks Todd! Man I'm glad, they're so deserving.
Ratings
I'm glad this is getting so many comments. I wonder how the ratings were last night.
The best one
"Cabins: a place to rest that is made of logs."
Man It's Good To Have 'Em Back
Steve Heisler has the most enviable position right now at the AV Club. Covering Parks & Rec.
Chang/Jeong
I agree with everything you said about Chang, Todd. But he usually a more low-key delivery in episodes that always saves him for me. In this episode it was his unnecessary "let him finish!" during Jeff's monologue to the group.
I'd Be Surprised, But…
Things have gotten a lot more saccharine over the last few seasons, but I could see the potential of Michael having a very tragic, or at least down-note exit. Something about his early departure makes me suspect that.
