He is NOT a very good interviewer. He's like the perfect foil to Marc Maron. He's got the utterly opposite personality, bubbly and sunny and cheerful and trying to please, as opposed to Maron's "what's your fuckin deal" cynicism. But Holmes is probably just as insecure and needy as Maron.

Also, the jokes were so bad this week, he would take an extra couple of beats between headlines. He always does that when the jokes are particularly not good. Linger a little longer like that helps. it does not.
